Brewing & Serving Guide

Heat source: This dallah is a thermos-style serving vessel — it is not designed for use on a stovetop, open flame, microwave, or induction cooktop. Brew your Arabic coffee or tea separately in a pot, then transfer it into the dallah for serving.

Pre-warming: For best heat retention, rinse the interior with hot water for 30–60 seconds before filling, then discard the water.

Filling: Fill to no more than ¾ capacity to allow for safe pouring and to prevent spills. Leave the spout and lid area clear.

Serving: Tilt gently over small cups (finjan) and pour in a slow, steady motion. Keep the dallah upright when not pouring to retain heat.

Cooling: Allow the dallah to cool to room temperature before cleaning or storing. Never plunge a warm vessel into cold water.

Cleaning & Care

Interior: Rinse the interior with warm water immediately after use. For deeper cleaning, use a small amount of mild dish soap and a soft bottle brush. Rinse thoroughly until no soap residue remains.

Spout: Use a thin pipe cleaner or small brush to gently clean inside the spout after each use to prevent residue buildup.

Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a damp soft cloth. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.

Drying: Air-dry the dallah upside down on a drying rack to allow full drainage. Ensure the interior is completely dry before storing to prevent odors.

Do not submerge in water, place in the dishwasher, or use bleach-based cleaners.
